Just mosey on down to the 2024 State Fair of Texas partna! Gates open for the Most Texan Place on Earth on Friday, September 27, at 10 a.m., and the fair runs daily through October 20, 2024. Established in 1886, the State Fair of Texas has become the biggest and longest-running state fair in the country spanning 24 consecutive days.

Celebrating all things Texas from agriculture, and education, to community involvement, and quality entertainment. The State Fair of Texas is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the community by providing a family-friendly environment and, bringing people from all walks of life together. Through its lengthy history, the Fair not only serves as an annual celebration but remains committed to the legacy and preservation of Fair Park, a National Historic Landmark.

HOW DO I GET TO THE STATE FAIR OF TEXAS AND WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION?

It's fairly easy. Navigate to the State Fair of Texas parking lot, which is located at Gate 2 at 925 S. Haskell, Dallas, Texas 75223.

Hours of Operation

Sundays – Thursdays: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Fridays – Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. The last entry time is 9 p.m.

Open daily at 9 a.m.

The State Fair of Texas offers daily activities included in the price of your admission ticket and State Fair Food & Midway Coupons with more than 100 FREE attractions for fairgoers to enjoy. The entertainment is continuous with 90-plus music artists from different genres, weekend rodeos, pig and dog races, street performers, cook-offs, delicious fair food and so much more.

Thirsty? There are plenty of fountain drinks, slushes, snow cones, and non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks beverages to enjoy at the Fair. If you are on a special diet, they got you covered.

Not everyone can enjoy the State Fair classics and there are plenty of other options to choose from like delicious gourmet and international or vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free foods and beverages. For questions or help finding a certain food vendor, just visit any hospitality center or guest relations location for more details.

CAN I USE A MIDWAY GAME CARD FROM A PREVIOUS FAIR?

The State of Texas Fair coupons do not expire. Even if they are from a previous year. If a fairgoer has a Midway Game Card with funds from a prior Fair, it is still good. Bring your old card to any State Fair’s Guest Relations center to exchange it for Food & Midway Coupons. Now fairgoers can use a single source of currency.

THE STATE FAIR OF TEXAS PARKING INFORMATION

The official State Fair parking lots are well-lit and conveniently located near the entry Gates. It costs $30 per vehicle to park. Bicycle racks are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are located inside Gates 5, 6, and 11.

PARKING SPACES FOR THE DISABLED REQUIRE A DESIGNATED LICENSE PLATE OR HANG TAG.

Overnight parking is prohibited and Adjacent spaces may not be reserved. The only exception is TX vs. OU weekend in designated RV parking lots on a first come first served basis. Cash or credit card payment is due at the Gate upon entry unless you have already pre-paid for your space.
