Tiersa Reeves Is Named The Mix 93-1 Mom Of The Year

East Texas is home to thousands of mom's that deserve the title of 'Mom of the Year' for Mother's Day this Sunday. With hundreds of submissions into the Mix 93-1/El Charro on the Ridge Mom of the Year contest, we had a difficult time picking just one winner because there are so many amazing moms taking care of some extraordinary families and sacrificing so much for their families.

After reviewing all of the entries it came down to one - Mix 93-1 and El Charro on the Ridge are proud to announce that Tiersa Reeves is named the Mix 93-1 Mom Of The Year.

Her daughter Kacey tells us about her mom,

Go to sleep at 11, wake up to take care of babies every hour of the night, wake up at 6:30 to get the older ones off the school, get the husband off to work, take care of the babies, fix 3 meals a day, clean up, make sure everyone is taken care of; that's what my mom's day usually looks like. My mom's name is Tiersa Reeves, she has not only 4 kids of her own, but 1 adopted baby and another foster baby. In 2012, my parents decided to open our house to foster children. Since then, my mom has cared, loved, and devoted numerous hours to children who don't have a mother or one that cares. She has given her heart and so much more to the many foster kids that have walked through our front door in the past 2 years and still managed to give attention and love to her 4 biological kids. My mom has the biggest heart around and it grows and is given to a lot of people everyday. She is the Christian, mommy, wife, and care taker she needs to be everyday, and I am extremely thankful for that. My mom deserves to be Mom of the Year 2014 because no one loves and cares like she does.

Tiersa will receive a $300 spa package from Identity Day Spa and Salon courtesy of El Charro on the Ridge and Mix 93-1.
