Fall is coming and that means cooler temps and more reason to go outside and enjoy the weather before we hit the cold months. When you add in the fact that folks who want to go to the movies are still a tad bit hesitant due to COVID could use a different option.

The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the public out this fall to enjoy family friendly free movies in Bergfield Park located at 1510 S. College Ave. beginning Saturday September 11th and over a period of several weekends in September and October.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and the whole family out for a great lineup of movies:

“Soul” introduces Joe Gardner (voice of Jamie Foxx) – a middle-school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town. But one small misstep takes him from the streets of New York City to The Great Before – a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities, quirks and interests before they go to Earth.

RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON - Saturday, September 25 starting at 7:30 p.m.

“Raya and the Last Dragon” takes us on an exciting, epic journey to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people.
