The Department will conduct community outreach from 4:30 to 7:30 pm on Thursday near Sutherland Drive, Barbee Drive, Wellington Street, Bentley Court and Powell Drive. They will introduce themselves to residents and give citizens a chance to voice concerns or questions, according to TylerPaper.com. Officers will also talk with residents about crime, traffic, code enforcement and other concerns.

Tyler's Chief of Police Jimmy Toler said, “It is our hope to continue to develop relationships and helping others. Reaching out to a small area will allow us to identify and address immediate concerns.”
