Tyler’s Azalea Trails Are Looking For Belles For The 2020 Season
Tyler's Azalea District will soon be filled with blooms and visitors who will be greeted by a very special group of young ladies known as Azalea Belles.
Each spring Tyler's Azalea District is full of millions of spring flower and azalea blooms and attract thousands of visitors from across the nation. Select historical homes along the Azalea Trail will be open to the public where the Tyler Azalea Belles will be there to greet visitors from all over. Tyler's Azalea Belles are a select group of high school freshmen and sophomores from Smith County who will be wearing antebellum dresses as they greet tourists and pose for photographs at these special historical homes.
Applications are currently being accepted to become an Azalea Belle through Visit Tyler, who provide the dresses. The deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, January 22nd. Check here for more details, requirements and responsibilities of the Azalea Belles.
The 61st Annual Azalea and Spring Flower Trail will take place in the Downtown Azalea District March 20 – April 5, 2020.
