Tyler’s Honey Tree To Close After 45 Years In Business
Opening in 1974, the Honey Tree in Tyler will be closing their doors for good this afternoon at 3 p.m.
May 31st will mark the end of an era for Richard and Evelyn Harvey, who originally opened the Honey Tree as a vitamin shop. As time passed the business added a restaurant component that offered up an in-depth menu along with healthy baked goods and expanded again in 2015. The expansion included a bakery, a wider variety of supplements and whole health lifestyle products.
This locally run business will be closing their doors for good this afternoon while the owners begin to enjoy retirement the cafe tells CBS19.
The Honey Tree is located on the corner of Shelley Dr. and Old Bullard Road in Tyler. A store representative says the building will remain but would most likely be sold or leased out.
