[WATCH] Footage From Top of Ferris Wheel, Shooting At Texas State Fair
There was an active shooter at the Texas State Fair last Saturday night, October 14th, in Dallas, Texas. 22-year-old suspect, Cameron Turner, shot a man and injured three others. All are expected to fully recover from the incident, and Turner was quickly apprehended. He is now charged with aggravated assault for the fair shooting.
One couple was at the top of a Ferris wheel during the shooting and had no idea what was going on. They posted a video to Twitter of the chaos unfolding below them while they dangled helplessly in the air.
Check out the footage below:
I would be absolutely terrified, and I feel so terribly bad for all of the children and people who were subjected to this traumatic event. It will likely change the way they feel about the fair forever, and that's a shame.
A TikTok user also posted a video from inside the rodeo arena after the shooting. Guests can be seen exiting with haste.
