A commuter filming a pickup truck on I-35 in Dallas caught the moment it slammed into a barrier.

Admittedly, I would have freaked out a little if I had been right behind the truck as it slammed into the barrier, but probably not as much as the lady in the video did. She straight-up lost it there for a few seconds.

Apparently, the guy behind the wheel had been driving erratically, so one of the ladies was filming him as the other reported him to the police right before he hit the barrier. He slowed to a stop after hitting the wall but then tried to drive away but to no avail.

The driver eventually stepped out of the truck, stumbled around a bit, and then got back in. We don’t know what happened after that, but if I were betting money, it would be on him getting arrested and hauled to jail on suspicion of driving under the influence.

It’s no secret that you’ll find some of the worst drivers in the world here in North Texas – even more so when they’re drunk. This is why I can feel my blood pressure rising as soon as I get close to Dallas-Fort Worth when I travel there.
