Watch: Texas Buc-ee's Employee Chops Brisket at Warp Speed

A guy working at Buc-ee's in New Braunfels is incredibly dedicated.

That, or he’s hopped up on something. Trust me, I’ve been to a lot of barbecue joints in my life and have never seen anyone chop brisket so fast.

When I first came across the below video on Dallas Texas TV’s page on X (formerly Twitter), I thought it was a hoax. It looked as if someone had sped the video up.

But if you watch the people in the background, that’s not the case. He really is chopping that brisket like a bat out of hell.

Like several of the people commenting on the video, I can’t help but wonder if he got any sweat on the brisket. Maybe that’s his secret to keeping it nice and juicy.

Whatever the case may be, I’ll be the first in line for a brisket sandwich the next time I’m in that neck of the woods. Hopefully, I’ll catch of glimpse of my man in action.
