Fill Your Weekend With These 14 Fun Events Happening In East Texas
(East Texas) Drive along any Farm-to-Market road or city street in East Texas and you're bound to see some beautiful white flowers adorning the numerous Dogwood trees.
Drive along those same FM roads and city streets and you'll see the colorful blooms in shades of pink, red, and white of the azalea bush.
For the past two weeks, East Texas has been hosting thousands of visitors who come to the Piney Woods to see the Dogwood Trails in Palestine and the Azalea and Spring Flower Trails in Tyler. Officially speaking, this is the final weekend for these two huge tourist attractions.
Soon those flowers will shed and turn into beautiful leaves that will provide a lot of shade and the azalea bushes will be alive with brightly colored green leaves.
This weekend may be a bit stormy to start, but Sunday will be a pretty nice, although chilly kind of day thanks to a powerful cold front that's moving through the area.
Hopefully you can dodge the showers and thunderstorms and take part in these great East Texas events taking place this weekend.
Here's a look at what's happening this weekend in East Texas.
