Collectively East Texans owe a huge gratitude to the many many many linemen and linewomen from East Texas, Texas, and beyond who have worked and continue to work to restore power across the region. It wasn't just Tyler and Smith County that needed assistance to restore power after Monday evening's storm damage to the power infrastructure was felt all over East Texas.

THANK YOU TO THESE SPECIAL MEN AND WOMEN.

We pray they continue to be safe and remain accident-free while taking on this huge challenge. If your power is out still, we hope it gets restored for you soon.

While the cleanup continues across the Piney Woods, take some time out this weekend and relax and have a change of mind and scenery, and do something a bit different for a while.

Here's a look at this weekend's event happening across East Texas.
