10 Things to Do in East Texas This Weekend

(East Texas) The East Texas summer continues to be a brutal one. With temperatures consistently crossing the 100+ degree mark, all we want to do is stay indoors where it's nice and cool, hopefully. With the weekend coming, we can't stay cooped up in our homes, though; we've gotta get outside and play around.

Despite the heat, you can hit up a car show this weekend, adopt a pet from a local animal shelter, shop at one of the many vendor markets, and the kids can be a part of a Pokemon tournament along with other activities happening throughout East Texas.
