(Mix 93-1) East Texans have been looking forward to this weekend for quite some time; their first really cool fall weekend! We’ve been waiting, and we deserve it after our hot, humid summer. Plus, we gain an extra hour of sleep this weekend as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end Sunday at 2 a.m.

Many East Texans may end up mowing the lawn for one of the last few times for the season and then begin their fall planting and get the flowerbed looking good with some pansies for the winter. If lawn maintenance and flowerbed work isn't your thing, maybe you can drive around town early Saturday morning and find a bargain at an area garage sale.

Then, if you've got little ones, you may still be able to find a neighborhood fall festival happening at a local church for them to enjoy and participate in, with one final chance to get more candy, as if they already don't get enough while out trick-or-treating. Don't worry if you miss out on hitting up a haunted house on Halloween night this year because you go trick-or-treating with the kids; many of them will be open Saturday, so you can get your adrenaline pumping and get scared by all the ghouls!

Here's a look at what's happening this weekend in East Texas.
