Wesley Is Playful, Youthful, Loving And Looking For A New Family
Wesley is just one of more than 70 dogs that are patiently waiting to be adopted from the Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler, Texas. Wesley has been at the shelter now for a little more than three months and he's getting anxious and wants a family that he can belong to and bond with while he's still in his formative years!
Wesley is a terrier mix and is about a year and nine months old. He currently weighs about 50 pounds and is an active guy. Pets Fur People's executive director Gayle Helms says he's extremely energetic, playful, and intelligent. She believes he would be great with kids and above all he wants to be a lap dog, although maybe a bit big for your lap, but he'll try his best!
Wesley is our Pet Of The Week
Wesley is also house-trained and just like any dog, he enjoys sticking his head out of the window when gets in the car to go for a ride. Wesley will go home with a starter kit of food, a bed, collar, leash and a certificate for half-price basic obedience training from Tyler Obedience Training Club.
