Last weekend I was scrolling through Netflix when I stumbled onto the CW Teen Drama, Riverdale. After the first episode I was hooked.

It was late when I started watching, but somehow I stayed wide awake to watch four episodes in a row. What I saw was not at all what I expected.

As a kid I had read a few Archies comics, and had an idea who the characters, Archie, Victoria, Betty and Jughead were. What I saw in Riverdale was modern and had a much darker twist than I expected.

The first episode begins with a missing teenager, who turns up dead. The primary characters' roles are established, and love triangles set up from the start. They entangle over the first couple of seasons, as the foursome try to help solve the mystery of Jason Blossom.

Looking for a drama that will suck you in for a weekend of binge-watching to kick off Fall. You've got the first two seasons available on Netflix, and season 3 set to kick off on the CW on Wednesday, Oct. 10.
