If you haven't heard, Chick-fil-A just announced that they're testing a new chicken strip at select Texas, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania locations - the spicy Chick-n-Strip.

I was pretty excited to read the news on Wide Open Eats only to soon find out that the participating locations are in Central and South Texas... not East Texas. Now, I plan on going to Killeen in a few weeks, but I want to know if they are good right now! So I asked some of our friends at a sister radio station located in Temple, Texas to give them a try and they sent a taste test video for us to enjoy and drool over.

I used to do taste tests with Wes Adams and Aaron Savage on New Country US 105 back in the day, so their word is definitely trustworthy when it comes to food. Let's see what they thought.

At the end of it, they give the spice factor about a 1.5 out of a scale between 1 and 5. Pretty dang mild. But it does add a nice kick and spicy flavor. Basically, if you like their chicken already, there's no reason you won't like this.

Bonus points, even those who can't handle spice may be able to give this a shot. Happy eating!
