Academy Award Winning Actress Jennifer Lawrence's career is on fire. She is best known for her role as Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games, but where did she get her start?
Her first big break came from the film, Winter's Bone, which garnered her nominations for a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. After that she landed the role of Mystique in X-Men: First Class.

Shortly after X-Men, she scored the role of Katniss and rising star. Last year, she earned an oscar for work in Silver Linings Playbook along with a Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, among others.

In 2004, she was discovered in New York City while auditioning for talent and modeling agencies, soon after she filmed the following promos for My Super Sweet 16 and the rest is history.
