Yesterday I honored to have attend the very special Kidd's Kids Send Off Party for the Kidd's Kids Trip, which is going on now at Walt Disney World in Florida. This was truly a party to remember for all the kids and the parents involved.

Southwest Airlines converted one of their hangers into a gigantic party atmosphere. The kids were greeted by a purple carpet entrance lined with velvet ropes and was finished off Oscar like statues on both side. Upon checking in to get their credentials, the kids were greeted by the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, Southwest Airlines staff members outfitted in planes, pom poms and the sound of pumping music. This though was just the beginning of their adventures because they were also treated to decadent cupcakes, Raising Canes chicken fingers, El Chico, pop corn, drinks and snacks of all kinds and to expel some of that energy that needed to burned off before boarding the plane the kids could play Wii games on the mobile gaming truck.

It's an awesome thing to take in and just see all of these kids and their families mingle and get to know each other before heading out on the trip of a lifetime.  When it was time to board the plane, Kellie, Big Al, J-Si, Jenna, Caroline (Kidd's daughter) called each child's name one by one and they got to walk the purple carpet that was lined with hundreds of cheering fans!  Psycho Shanon even made a special appearance to be at the send off party too, she is recovering from brain surgery, because she didn't want to miss out on this very special moment that she's been a part of for so many years.
