Mix 93-1 CTCU Teacher Of The Week November 21st

Mix 93-1 and CTCU are proud to recognize outstanding teachers from our East Texas classrooms!

This week's recipient is Mrs. Womble of Brownsboro Junior High. Ms. Womble is the junior high life skills instructor.

Mrs. Womble was nominated by a student of hers. The nomination form reads like this:

Mrs. Womble is by far one of the greatest teachers have had the privilege of knowing! She is the Life Skills teacher at Brownsboro Jr. high. She has kids ranging from 12 to 22 with all different kinds of needs. She cares for each and everyone of her students as if they were her own! There is nothing she wouldn't do for them whether it is putting clothes on their back or making sure they are fed and have had a bath! She plans fun field trips for the kids like bowling, the zoo, or even going out to a restaurant to teach them how to properly act. 9 times out of 10 however she pays for the entire trip, just so her students are able to have a good time! It is amazing how much her students have progressed and learned since she has been their teacher. I don't feel she get the credit she deserves most of the time because her job takes a true caring and loving person. This is why I believe Mrs. Womble should be recognized as Teacher of the Week!
