This Thursday and Friday, Mix 93-1 will introduce you to some very special children from right here in East Texas during the Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon.

The Children's Miracle Network Allocation Committee recently spent $1.2 million dollars on equipment, education pieces, special distractions and more for children's use at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System.

The East Texas heat and humidity has been pretty oppressive here lately and just about the only way to escape it is by jumping in a pool or eating something extremely cold! Coming up tomorrow (Thursday, July 28th), you can cool down with your favorite Dairy Queen Blizzard and help East Texas children at the same time at Christus Trinity Mother Frances on Miracle Treat Day!

This past weekend the Children's Miracle Network hosted their annual telethon to raise money for the pediatric services offered by Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital. Every dollar that is raised through fundraising throughout East Texas stays here locally to benefit the children in need in East Texas.

Children are a gift and it is our responsibility to care for them unconditionally. We can help provide for their care by running or walking in the Tyler Rose City Miracle Run on April 30th!

Mix 93-1 is very proud of its' listeners as they called in and pledged more than $18,000 for the Children's Miracle Network during the two day Mix With Kid's Children's Miracle Network Radiothon.

Last year the Children's Miracle Network telethon reached a milestone, raising $1 million during the weekend telethon.

Over the past 16 years generous East Texans have come to support the Children's Miracle Network through the annual Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon on Mix 93-1.
