The Situation Finds Himself Shunned by Housemates on ‘Jersey Shore’ [VIDEO]
For most of the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast, this season’s trip to Florence has been fairly positive. But for the Situation, it’s been anything but.
For most of the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast, this season’s trip to Florence has been fairly positive. But for the Situation, it’s been anything but.
If you love ‘Jersey Shore,’ this is going to be great news. If you hate ‘Jersey Shore,’ this might ruin your day.
Business Insider reports that producers are looking for cast members for a new reality show that is being described as ‘Jersey Shore: Silicon Valley.’
‘Jersey Shore’ doesn’t just rot brains — it drains tax coffers, too.
MTV’s hit reality show, which depicts the exploits of a group of raisin-tanned 20-somethings as they live and party along the New Jersey coastline, has just had $420,000 of its 2009 production costs covered by the state’s Economic Development Authority.
Not much could top the recent ‘Jersey Shore‘ moment when the Situation intentionally drove his own head into a concrete wall while arguing with Ronnie. But this skirmish between Snooki and Deena, where they accidentally started fighting each other, comes pretty close.
While partying at a local nightclub in Florence, Deena suddenly has a drink thrown at her. Seeking payback, she wades into the crowd, vowing to find the perpetrator and “knock that b**** out.”
On ‘Jersey Shore,’ random hookups are as commonplace as fights between volatile couple Ronnie and Sammi. But even hardcore fans were no doubt surprised when straight cast member Deena Cortese engaged in a full-on makeout session with another girl in last week’s episode of the reality show.
Snooki, The Situation, JWoww and the rest of the Jersey Shore cast recently went on a vacation to Italy and MTV's ready to air Jersey Shore's Italian Holiday to kick off season 4 of the show. This year's show will be filled with a ton of explosive moments that have already made some headlines along with a ton of bleeps! Catch the full trailer that MTV released right after the jump.
The 'Jersey Shore' gang is breaking up.
Multiple sources report that original cast member Vinny Guadognino has left the famed Jersey Shore house for good after an argument with an unnamed cast member.
Despite a report from US Weekly, MTV says it has no plans to replace the cast of ‘Jersey Shore.’
“We love the present cast, and their summer adventures have just begun. We currently have no plans to recast the show,” a spokesperson told the Hollywood Reporter Friday.
And the drama continues: Just days after Ronnie Ortiz Magro and Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino reportedly brawled in Florence, Italy, PEOPLE is reporting that 'Jersey Shore' star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi crashed her car into an Italian police escort.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday and sent two Italian officers to the hospital for minor injuries. Sources added that no alcohol or drugs were involved, though Snooki was still taken to a police station to fill out an accident report.
File this one under "duh."
According to TMZ, 'Jersey Shore' stars Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro got into a "major fist fight" while filming Tuesday night in Florence, Italy.
Nobody knows yet why the fight broke out, though sources for TMZ claim the brawl possibly started "after a blowout" between Ronnie and his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Sammi.
Apparently, it really does pay to be on the 'Jersey Shore.'
According to an exclusive report from EW.com, the eight-member cast has finalized salary negotiations for the upcoming season, which will shoot in Italy.
Sources say members of the "core group" will make "at least $100,000 per-episode," up significantly from their $10,000 per-episode salary for season 2. And that's before you count their other sources of income, which includes appearances and endorsements (like, you know, Snooki's $32,000 fee to appear at Rutgers University).

MTV announced yesterday that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio and Jenni "JWoww" Farley will be featured in two untitled reality projects, set to air in 2012.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, one of the shows will feature Snooki and JWoww, while the other will focus on Pauly D. 12 episodes of each reality project have been ordered.
