April 24, 2012 The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department originally planned to show the movie Dolphin Tale for free a couple of weeks ago, but was cancelled due to rain, but has now been rescheduled for Friday night at Bergfeld Park in Tyler.

March 30, 2012 Kids all over East Texas will be hunting Easter eggs next weekend, before the big day though they can get practice at the twilight Easter egg hunt thanks to the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department. The hunt is coming up Thursday evening at Lindsey Park in Tyler where there will be more than 30,000 eggs delivered by the Easter bunny!

It's the 6th year for Holiday in the Park and is presented by Tyler Parks and Recreation and will be happening on Friday and Saturday, December 9th and 10th.

It's a great event to bring the family together and do something that's free! Saturday evening you can catch the free showing of "Soul Surfer" at Bergrfeld Parks Amphitheater. Just bring a blanket, maybe some snacks or lawn chairs and catch the movie beginning at 7:45p.
