Tyler Parks and Recreation will once again be hosting and entertaining families with free movies this fall at Bergfeld Park.

Cooler temperatures are definitely on the way to East Texas and families will be looking for more outdoor activities to do together and the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department will be playing host to them with free movies! "Movies In The Park" returns to Bergfeld Park's amphitheater and the Centene Stage beginning Saturday, September 29th and will be shown on the much improved and larger 24' x 12' screen!

Debbie Isham, Tyler Parks and Recreation Special Events and Recreation Manager says,

We started Movies in the Park in the fall of 2004 and we have shown 100 movies so far. Without public and private support of Parks and Recreation programming, the show might not go on. The City must pay a licensing fee for the rights to show each movie. That’s why donations and sponsorships are so important.

If you would like to help sponsor this family event, call Debbie Isham at 903.531.1214.
