Before you know it most all East Texans will be looking for ways to cool off and escape the hot Texas summer heat!  One of the best ways to cool off is to go for a dip in the pool!  The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up to open up the 2 city pools on June 4th!  Fun Forest and Woldert Swimming Pools will open at 1p on Saturday the 4th.

Fun in the sun at the Tyler city swimming pools happens just about every day of the week through August 13th.  Operating hours are as follows:

Fun Forest Pool and Sprayground
Closed - Sunday and Monday
1p - 6p - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
1p - 7p - Friday and Saturday

Woldert Pool and Sprayground
Closed - Sunday
1p - 6p - Monday thru Thursday
1p - 7p - Friday
1p - 6p - Saturday

The best thing about the Tyler city pools is that they are free!  Both pools have trained lifeguards on duty and all children under 18 must be registered with the pool manager by a parent or legal guardian.  Registration will be held May 31st thru June 3rd from 1p - 5p and during regular pool hours.

Fun Forest Pool and sprayground is located at:
900 N. Glenwood Blvd.

Woldert Pool and sprayground is located at:
701 W. 32nd Street
