Taylor Swift wants to keep you guessing. At least that's what it seems like after her coy acceptance speech on Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor took home the prize for Best Female Video for "I Knew You Were Trouble."

"I also want to thank the person who inspired this song, who knows exactly who he is, because now I got one of these!"

Of course with Taylor's dating history, there is a lot of speculation as to who the song could be about.

"For me, yeah, there’s a lot of curiosity about who each song is about and that’s kind of something that I love keeping to myself, never really revealing who exactly these songs are about," she said.

But Taylor would like for you to make up your mind about who she is singing about, or think of your own troublemaker.

"I like for people to be able to paint their own picture," she explained. "Of whether they want to think about their ex-boyfriend, or someone they know, or make up their own mind about who they think I wrote it about."

Speculators are pointing their fingers at two former beaus. John Mayer and Harry Styles of One Direction.

She adds, "It’s all up to them, because I’m never telling!"

Though Taylor released the song in October 2012, and it would seem to pre-date her relationship with Harry, rumors are that they two actually first dated very early in 2012, but he dumped her for someone else. Apparently there's no hard feelings as the two posed together for a picture later that night after the awards show.

So, who you think she was referring to?
