East Texans will be celebrating the birth of our nation July 4th with cookouts, pool parties, friends, family and fireworks! There will be plenty of events around East Texas to keep families entertained for hours. From live music to fireworks, it's all here in beautiful East Texas!

Tuesday, July 4th - 6:30 p.m.
Downtown Canton

The parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m. from The First Baptist Church followed by a fireworks show from the First Monday Trade Day grounds at dusk.

Chandler:
Old Fashion 4th of July
6-9:45 p.m.
Winchester Park

  • 6:00 PM Concession opens
  • 7:00 PM DECORATION STATION (Free decorations for children’s bikes, wagon etc. for parade entries)
  • 8:00 PM CHILDRENS PARADE around park led by Korn Pop the clown!
  • 9:00 PM FIREWORKS begin

Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center in Longview is geared up for the 2018 celebration of America's birthday.

The Fireworks and Freedom Celebration is July 4 and filled with many great events for the family. Carnival rides, patriotic pup fashion show, weenie dog races, car show, motorcycle parade and more.

There will be great live music, too, with the Ray Johnston Band and Sammy Kershaw.
Admission and parking are free and gates open at 11 a.m.; however, prices vary for individual activities. Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m.

Lindsey Park 4th of July Celebration
Wednesday, July 4

Lindsey Park will open at 2 p.m. for you to claim your real estate on the soccer and soft ball fields! The Kids’ Zone and concessions will begin at 4 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m. Live entertainment will include the Groove Slaves and Faber and Friends.
Admission is free and the fireworks will begin after dark.
