2023 and 2024 Important Dates for Tyler ISD in Tyler, Texas

While I realize most kids don’t want to talk about the next school year (2023/2024), I also know that most parents with students attending Tyler ISD in Tyler, Texas would like to have this information if they don’t already. Calendars can fill up quickly, so I wanted to share with you a list of important dates for the upcoming school year.

First and Last Day of School

The first day of school for Tyler ISD students will be Wednesday, August 16, 2023. The last day of school for the year will be Friday, May 24, 2024.

Holidays Schedule

The following days Tyler ISD classes will not be in session:

Labor Day - September 4

Thanksgiving - November 20 - 24

Christmas Break - December 18 - January 2, 2024

Martin Luther King Jr. Day - January 15

Spring Break - March 11 - 15

Good Friday - March 29

Memorial Day - May 27
