2026 FIFA World Cup Coming to Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium

FIFA revealed the host cities for the 2026 World Cup and one of those cities happens to be Dallas, specifically at AT&T Stadium, the home of America's team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Since 2009, AT&T Stadium, or 'the house that Jerry built', has hosted a slew of events besides Dallas Cowboys football. It's been the site of several concerts, boxing matches, college football games, high school playoff games, and many other events.

Now, 'Jerry's House' will be getting its first FIFA World Cup.

According to <a href="https://www.espn.com/soccer/fifa-world-cup/story/4686699/world-cup-2026-host-cities-revealedwith-11-venues-in-us3-in-mexico-and-2-in-canada" target="_blank">ESPN</a>, 16 North American cities will host matches, with 11 of those matches in the United States including the one that will take place at AT&T stadium.

According to the official website of the Cowboys, the event is expected to bring in about $400 million in revenue along with 3,000 jobs.

"This is such a great opportunity for Dallas. And such a great opportunity for Texas," Jerry Jones said after the announcement. "When you see World Class competition, it raises your level of aspiration. The more I've been associated with the Cowboys, the more I've seen how meaningful soccer is to sports." (Dallas Cowboys)

Other U.S. cities that will be hosting include Houston, Atlanta, Boston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jerry Jones may not be the best GM in sports, but he is a genius when it comes to marketing and growing the Dallas Cowboys brand.
