FLINT, Mich. (AP) — A woman, her husband and adult son have been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a security guard who refused to let her daughter enter a Family Dollar store in Michigan without a face mask.
Calvin Munerlyn, a husband and father of 9, was killed Friday at the store in Flint.
Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said Monday that Munerlyn told Sharmel Teague's daughter that she had to leave unless she put on a mask. Teague argued with Munerlyn before leaving.
According to police, about 20 minutes later, Teague's husband Larry Teague, 44, and her son Ramonyea Bishop, 23, came to the store. As Larry Teague argued with Munerlyn about disrepecting the women in his family, Ramonyea approached and shot Munerlyn in the head.
Sharmel Teague has been arrested, however police are still seeking her husband and son.
All three have been charged with first-degree premeditated murder.
