3 Men from Venezuelan Gang Facing Capital Murder in Texas
You can attempt to run from Texas law enforcement but it’s only a matter of time until you are caught. That is the case with three individuals that are now facing capital murder charges with all of them being linked to the Venezuelan street gang Tren de Aragua.
The details came from the Farmer’s Branch Police Department, as they posted the details to social media. All three suspects in this case were arrested outside of Texas but will be extradited back to the Lone Star State.
Identifying the Venezuelan Gang Members Arrested for Murder
Ehiker Alexander Morales Mendoza, 38, Carlos Luis Zambrano Bolivar, 25, and Jhonata Nahin Toro Gonzalez, 22, have all been charged with Capital Murder and two counts of Aggravated Kidnapping.
The crime took place on August 24, 2024, in which the victim Nilzult Arneaud Petit was murdered.
What Happened That Led to the Murder
The victim was walking along a service road when he was forcibly taken along with two related juveniles. The suspects then shot and killed the victim and released the two juveniles.
Through investigations law enforcement found that the victim was believed to be holding stolen money from other group members and the suspects were demanding payment, which Petit was unable to provide.
One of the suspects was found in New Mexico, two others were apprehended in Colorado. A fourth suspect in this case Jhonny Jesus Martinez Serrano is still at large.
All suspects in this case are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
