1.) THE UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE
LOCATION – TRASSENHEIDE, GERMANY
I don't know if I've ever seen a house, deliberately, build upside. However, there's a first time for everything. This is a crazy-cool house, that nobody lives in. What do you think this house signifies? The Toilet House, also known as Haewoojae means “ a place of sanctuary where one can solve one’s worries.” Sounds like sitting on the throne to me! KRZYWY DOMEK means crooked house in Polish, and this is certainly a building that ain't straight by any stretch of the imagination.
4.) THE FLINTSTONE HOUSE
There are many replica homes around the world honoring the beloved cartoon, The Flintstones. It was one of my all-time favorite cartoons and clearly, I am not the only one who was fascinated by the way Fred and Wilma lived in the town of Bedrock. The animated series had cool concepts on how to depict the Stone Age town and people, by somehow making things seem modern all at the same time.
To that point, the house is an eccentric smart home located in Hillsborough, California. Built in 1976, it was designed by William Nicholson and features dinosaur statues and various art scenes from the cartoon. Believe it or not, it sold in 2017 for an incredible $2.8 million! Would you spend nearly 3 million dollars for a house that looked like this?
