Alto ISD Students Will Only Need to Provide a Backpack + Lunch Box

After a tornado tore through Alto, many generous donations rolled into the school district.

So many, that students will only need to provide their own backpack and lunch box for the 2019-20 school year.

Alto ISD released the following statement on Facebook:

"A special announcement on the last day of school ....
Because of the generous donations from our neighbors and complete strangers across our great state and beyond ... the families of Alto ISD students will only need to provide their child with a backpack and lunch kit for the 2019-2020 school year! ALL other school supplies will be provided!
What a blessing to families of Alto ISD!

We pray that every student and staff member has an amazing summer!
Rest, relax, and enjoy the things that matter most ... the laughter of your children, afternoons in a water sprinkler, and family game nights. We will never regret the time we spend with our children, family, and friends!"
