Hi there! Radio has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My first on-air performance was at the age of three on a jingle in Temple, Texas. From then on, despite a professional journey that has lead me through theatre, TV, media research and more, radio has always been my first professional love. I also enjoy and am an advocate for, the arts in all its various forms. I grew up in a creative household, and I have a natural attraction toward wordsmithery and creative endeavors. My basic life philosophy can be summed up in the words of the great Bill and Ted: “Be Excellent to Each Other.” In addition to music, of course, I also love writing, history, documentaries, films, conversation, kindness, animals, and basically most things. Wait... Wait. There are a couple of things I don’t love, like yogurt-covered raisins. Just no. Speaking of eating, I also enjoy culinary endeavors in the kitchen and have a certificate in plant-based nutrition, but I'm a "selective omnivore." I’ve lived all over Texas, but after receiving my BA in Theatre and Communication from McMurry University, I came back to East Texas. It’s an honor to share the day with you. X
