As you all know Jack-o-lanterns are a throw from the Celts -- carved pumpkin with a light inside was supposed to ward off evil spirits. Odd bit of info that I didn't know the celts didn't have pumpkins so they used turnips -- wow imagine carving a turnip! Gallery after the jump
