Cameron Boyce's family launched The Cameron Boyce Foundation just weeks after his death, to honor the star's previous philanthropic endeavors.

"The Cameron Boyce Foundation provides young people artistic and creative outlets as alternatives to violence and negativity and uses resources and philanthropy for positive change in the world. The Foundation was established in 2019 to honor Cameron’s legacy," the website for the organization reads.

The header of the website features one of Boyce's heartfelt quotes: "We all go... what you leave should be bigger than you." — Cameron Boyce, 2018.

Boyce's Descendants co-star, Sofia Carson, wrote a tearful tribute announcing the foundation's launch. "The Cameron Boyce Foundation has launched, guided by the mission that was at Cam’s heart & soul. We are the lucky ones that got to live at the same time as Cameron Boyce. Together we will keep his heart and legacy alive. This is for you Cam," Carson tweeted.

Actor-artists Sabrina Carpenter and Laura Marano also shared the news on their social media accounts, along with heart emojis.

Boyce's Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2 co-star Adam Sandler helped raise $15,000 in memory of Boyce for one of Boyce's favorite charities, The Thirst Project.

In April 2019, Boyce was honored by The Thirst Project with the Pioneering Spirit Award at the charity's 9th Annual Thirst Gala. Boyce raised over $30,000 for the charity.

On July 6, Boyce passed away unexpectedly in his sleep due to an epileptic seizure.
