It's a month full of returns; pumpkin spice is due to hit shelves and your nearest coffee shop any day now, but if that's not for you then you'll be happy to know that Chick-fil-A is bringing in a different flavor that once upon a time brought a smile to so many people: the banana pudding milkshake!

13 years ago, the Chick-fil-A Banana Pudding Milkshake was an instant fan-favorite dessert. The shake is inspired by the classic Southern dessert, banana pudding, and it captures the rich, creamy flavors in a cool, drinkable form. It was so popular, that fans made Change.org petitions!

The shake typically includes Chick-fil-A’s signature Icedream (a soft-serve vanilla ice cream), blended with real banana flavor, vanilla wafers, and topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

The combination of these ingredients gives it that nostalgic banana pudding taste, with the crunch of vanilla wafers adding texture. Banana pudding is one of Texans favorite desserts that I'm sure many are ready for the day it debuts!

The milkshake won't be the only banana pudding-flavored treat that Chick-fil-A will be debuting this fall; they will also be introducing the banana frosted coffee!

The coffee will be “a blend of cold-brewed coffee, the brand’s signature Icedream dessert, banana and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles,” according to a press release from the company.

Both banana concoctions will only be here for a limited time.
