City of Longview to Offer First Ever Recycling Event this Saturday

In honor of "Texas Recycles Day" this Saturday, November 10th, the City of Longview Sanitation Department will offer it's first ever "Longview Recycles Day." The event will take place from 9am to 12noon in the west parking lot of the Longview Mall. In addition, the event will include free popcorn, hot chocolate, and other give-a-ways!

The free event is a chance for the public to dispose of motor oil, plastic bags, batteries, ink cartridges and certain electronic equipment. Examples of electronic items that will be accepted are: computers, CRT monitors, LCD flat screens, microwaves, phone systems and cell phones, wire, cables, circuit boards, printers and more!
