‘Downtown Abbey’ Open For Visitation

The popular show, 'Downton Abbey', is now open to the public... well the setting is. The PBS Masterpiece Classic television drama is filmed at Highclere Castle, and is now open to visitors.The 1,000 acre estate sits about 70 miles west of London and has been in the Earl of Carnavon’s family for hundreds of years.

Fans of the drama who tour the estate will recognize nearly ever room. The vast manor was recently opened to the public to help generate income to keep it running. Want to visit, the ticket will cost you about $28.
