It's been almost a decade since we last hung out with with Drake and Josh, the lovable teen stepbrothers from Nickelodeon's fan-favorite sitcom, Drake & Josh. Played by Drake Bell and Josh Peck, the characters went on to become two of Nickelodeon's most memorable and iconic, spawning two films, a book series, some video games, and a soundtrack album among other merchandise. The series went off the air in 2007.

While longtime fans have been clambering for years for a reunion featuring the show's two main stars, no official Nickelodeon production has been yet announced. Luckily, it looks like fans will still get that long-awaited reunion by means of another show altogether: Fox's John Stamos and Josh Peck-starring comedic sitcom, Grandfathered.

On Tuesday February 9, the titular duo behind Drake & Josh will be reunited as Drake Bell makes a guest appearance on the show. A teaser clip of the episode has been released, and shows Bell playing an as-yet-unnamed Jeremy Piven-like celebrity who shows up to an event Peck's character Gerald is at, much to the latter character's excitement. Watch below:

In addition to the official clip, Peck also posted a photo from the set on his Twitter this week that shows the characters interacting, along with his Drake & Josh character's signature line: "Hug me brotha!"

Are you excited to watch Drake and Josh reunite next week? Or are their brotherly antics better left in 2007?
