Fake Booster Club Selling Ads for Fake Longview High School Football Calendar

Don't become a victim of this bogus booster club. According to our news partner, KLTV, several Longview businesses are out money after buying fake ads for what they thought was a Longview High School football calendar.

Elizabeth Ross with Longview Independent School District says she has learned they go to a business known to support a local school to offer to sell an ad for a program or calendar.

“They start at five hundred and they would go back to the business and say oh, well now we have this calendar or no we have this specialty program, and they’ve started to take these businesses for thousands of dollars,” Ross told KLTV.

Currently it isn't known how many business may have fallen victim to the scam, but these thieves are stealing from East Texas businesses, and they're stealing from East Texas children.
