Five Things To Know About Texas Roadhouse
East Texans turn to Texas Roadhouse for great steaks and a fun atmosphere, but do they realize the company doesn't have any roots in Texas? That and their mind-blowing rolls.
Most (if not nearly all) don't know this much less care about it, they're just going out for a great steak and an awesome experience! Just last weekend my daughter chose Texas Roadhouse on the loop in Tyler for dinner - it was a reward for her great grades on her most recent report card! I believe she chose Texas Roadhouse for a couple of reasons - the rolls and cinnamon butter and the fact you can throw your peanut shells on the floor and not get into trouble for it! Whatever the reason was we had a great time with her and our friends. It's kind of funny that I would run across a pretty cool article Sunday while online at Delish about Texas Roadhouse mentioning eleven things you should know about eating at a Texas Roadhouse!
- The first thing was, which I didn't know, Texas Roadhouse got its start in Clarksville, IN but has quite a footprint across the Lone Star State with their 56 restaurants!
- You get free food! All the peanuts you can eat in addition to fresh baked rolls served up with cinnamon butter. I do believe this paragraph would be my daughters' favorite out of this entire post because you can throw the peanut shells on the floor and she is a bread freak (much like myself!)
- When you add up all the different cuts of meat served up yearly by Texas Roadhouse, each location goes through about a million dollars worth of meat each year.
- Texas Roadhouse is a little more than steaks, they've got some great margaritas too!
- Plus, they serve up road kill! It's just chopped steak covered with mushrooms, onions and cheese! This is also how my wife refers to how I like my steak cooked! I prefer it to be well done!
