Four Men Arrested in the Case Surrounding Joe Burrow Home Burglary
Former LSU National Championship quarterback Joe Burrow is enjoying life as a premier NFL star. He has a starting spot, huge stats, and a big contract. But it's not all positive for Burrow at the NFL level. Last month, his home was broken into, and numerous items were taken.
The robbery was reported on December 11th, 2024, as Burrow was in Texas to play the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Authorities got a call during the game, reporting a smashed window at the Ohio residence. They found a bedroom torn apart, with items missing.
Just over a month later, police found four men in possession of items tied to the robbery at Burrow's home.
Authorities in Clark County, Ohio arrested four men who had LSU memorabilia in their vehicle, that can be traced back to Joe Burrow. Police arrested Alexander Chavez, Bastian Morales, Jordan Sanchez and Sergio Cabello on charges of Possession of Criminal Tools, Participating in a Criminal Gang, Obstructing Official Business, and Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity.
The connection to Burrow's home invasion are being made through court documents that WLWT-TV have reviewed. Because they don't specifically mention Joe Burrow by name, but they reference a robbery on "December 9th, 2024" in Hamilton County (where Burrow lives) as well as an "old LSU shirt" and "Bengals hat". With Burrow being an LSU National Champion and current Bengals quarterback, the evidence seems pretty clear.
The New York Post also reports that cell phone data from one of the suspects matches details to Burrow's home.
WLWT also indicates that these arrests were part of a larger investigation, so these might not be the last arrests.
