To help students prepare for their upcoming test, McDonald’s of North Texas restaurants will continue its STAAR Free Breakfast program.

They will offer free breakfast to third through 8th grade students and teachers on Tuesday, April 9 from 5:30 to 10:30 a.m.  This promotion is valid for customers who order inside the restaurant only.

Students will receive their choice of an Egg White Delight McMuffin Sandwich or Fruit and Maple Oatmeal, Apple Slices and their choice of 1 percent low-fat milk or Honest Kids organic apple juice.

Teachers aren’t left out! Teachers can also receive the free breakfast offer with proof of a valid school identification card. Sounds like a great start to STAAR testing to me.

In 2018, over 20,700 breakfasts were given to students and teachers – averaging 63 per restaurant, as a part of the STAAR Free Breakfast program.

Eating a hearty breakfast is key for brain functionality, and certainly necessary on such an important day. Best of luck to students and teachers on your upcoming tests!
