What's coming up in March at the Glass Recreation Center? We've got your list!

Spring Community Sale

The Glass Recreation Center’s Annual Community Sale will be held Saturday, March 9 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shoppers will be able to find clothes for the kids, decorative items, furniture, books, toys and more. Admission is free and the sale is open to the public.

Anyone can be a vendor! Vendors should reserve their booth as soon as possible as space is limited. Vendor registration is $20 per booth. Setup time is Friday, March 8 from 4 to 9 p.m.

Volleyball

Gather your team and join the Tyler Parks and Recreation spring volleyball league. Registration will be open until Monday, March 4.

Volleyball divisions offered are Co-ed open and Women’s Open. League begins on Tuesday, March 19. Cost per team is $175 and $25 extra for open practices. An organizational meeting will be held Thursday, March 7 at 6 p.m.

GRC Spring Break Camp

Looking for a safe, fun place for your kids during Spring Break? GRC Camp is the place for your family. The five day camp is from March 11 to March 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camp will be filled with interactive and entertaining activities during the week and will also include two field trips. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be served daily.

The cost of the camp is $45 per child for the week. Space is limited to 30 children.

Fit Camp

Want to keep those New Year resolutions? Fit Camp is the program for you! Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Cost is $60 per month.

Fencing

Join the Glass Recreation Center’s Fencing Club. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Fee for this class is $40 per month or $10 per session. All equipment is provided. Adults and kids are welcome. Try your first month FREE!

Easter Egg Hunt

Save the Date! Tyler Parks and Recreation’s 18th Annual Twilight Easter Egg Hunt will be Thursday, April 18 at Lindsey Park, located at 12557 Spur 344 W. Festivities begin at 6:15 p.m. and conclude with Easter egg hunts for the different age groups on the softball fields. You don’t want to miss this terrific event! Admission is free and open to the public.
