Have a Happy Prowl-O-Ween This Saturday at Tiger Creek

Did you know that Big Cats like to eat pumpkins? I had no idea, but by bringing a pumpkin to Tiger Creek Refuge this weekend you can enjoy half off admission to Prowl-O-Ween.

Those pumpkins you're bringing will be fed to the lions and tigers who apparently love to chow down on them. That demonstration will take place at 11 am and 1 pm.

Saturday from 10-3, Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge will host an event designed for family friendly fun. Enjoy a bounce house, petting zoo, candy stations, pumpkin decorating and a costume contest!

The costume contest will award three winners receiving:

• First: one year pass with a plus one
• Second: six-month pass with a plus one
• Third: weekend pass with a plus one

Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge is located on Hwy 14, north of I-20.
