Is An Alien Actually Buried At This Weird Small Town Texas Cemetery?
It would be one thing if an alien was buried at this site, but an alien-next-to-a-high-heeled-shoe? Well, that's something else.
The Town
Aurora, Texas is one of those small towns that isn't really near anything. Let's just say it's north to northwest of Fort Worth. It's a good half hour away from the center of Cowtown, and from the looks of it, the road is not what you'd call "well-traveled". At the heart of this town is a cemetery that claims to have the body of an alien
But Wait...
Before we get to the alien, let's take a moment to mention the other weird graves at the cemetery. For some reason there at least three grave markers that have oversized footwear as part of the design. You can see an oversized cowboy boot, a high-heel, and what looks to be an equestrian riding boot. But enough about that, you probably want to hear about little green men.
The Incident
50 years before the highly discussed incident in Roswell, New Mexico, way back in 1897, Aurora may have had another visitor. Witnesses at the time said a U.F.O. hit a windmill and crashed. At that point, the "alien" was buried and most of the debris was supposedly thrown down an abandoned well. The area where the alien was supposedly buried is still marked, despite some other markets mysteriously disappearing.
The Aftermath
There is some talk that this whole incident was made up as a publicity stunt, one that the city keep capitalizing on. Then again, an unmarked grave was identified, and some metal was passed on to experts that had traces of aluminum and unknown materials. Numerous TV shows and movies have since investigated and/or dramatized the events. Personally, I have just one question: How could a UFO, a vehicle that could travel outer space, be taken down by a windmill in the 1800's? Seems sketchy to me.
