JC Chasez is heading out on the road this summer, but not with his old band mates from *NSYNC. Instead, he's teaming up with other heavy hitters in the Jesus Christ Superstar Arena Tour.

The classic Andrew Llyod Weber / Tim Rice musical will see the two reunite to put on the multi-million dollar stage production. JC will tackle the role of Pontius Pilate, and former Destiny's Child member, Michelle Williams will play Mary Magdalene.

"All of a sudden the phone rings and they're going, "So Jesus Christ Superstar's going out on the road and they're playing arenas,'" JC recalls to ABC Radio. "I was like, 'Oh, OK.'  'And Webber's doing it, and Rice is doing it.'  And you're like,  'OK, this is getting big fast!.' And then they tell you the people that you're gonna be working with, and you just get really excited. And I'm ready to go on the road."

Other big names joining the cast include Brandon Boyd of Incubus as Judas, John Lydon (better known as Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols) as King Herod, and British performer Ben Forster as Jesus.
