Both Tyler area Jersey Mike's stores will donate 100 percent of sales tomorrow (Wednesday, March 25) to CASA for Kids of East Texas as a part of Jersey Mike's 'Month of Giving' campaign.

“People can go to the restaurant or order catering. Either way, every single dollar that comes in on March 25 goes to CASA!” said Patty Garner, CASA executive director. “It is unlikely that our fundraising will ever surpass our need, but with incredible partners like Jersey Mike’s Subs we can sure make a dent.”

CASA for Kids of East Texas provides trained volunteers to work with children who have been neglected or abused through the courts of Smith, Wood and Van Zandt Counties. They hope to achieve permanent living arrangements for these children that will look out for the kids' best interests.

Jersey Mike's has two Tyler locations, one in Macy's Plaza at 4754 S. Broadway Ave., and the other at 1690 S. Beckham Ave.

The 2014 Month of Giving campaign raised $2.1 million for 100 different charities nationwide. Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised nearly $10 million for worthy local causes and distributed more than 1 million free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
