Longview Time Travel: Dalton Gang Robbery Recreated

If you love Ark-Ka-Tex history you probably have heard of the infamous Dalton Gang. Downtown Longview will transform into an old town from the late 1800s. The old Western days come back to life, crazy guns and all. One of the Dalton Gangs' most legendary robberies takes over the Gregg County Historical Museum building.

Did You Know That the Gregg County Historical Museum Was Once a Bank?

Did you know that the old bank was robbed by the Dalton Gang? The cool part is that you can experience the robbery firsthand. Longview will just be traveling back in time on April 5th in Downtown Longview. Not only will you enjoy a fabulous show, but your kids will also be entertained by the awesome kid's section, where your kids can jump around on bounce houses, play all kinds of interactive games, and hang out in the petting zoo.

There will be multiple food trucks, unique vendors, and all kinds of fun for the parental units too. My family and I go out and enjoy this event every year. If watching Old Westerns is your thing, this event is for you. If you love Ark-La-Tex history you'll love soaking it all in.

There will be 4 reenactments where Dalton Days come to life at 10:00 a.m. and go on until 2:00 p.m. Bands play in between reenactments.
