Now Netflix has finally let Gilmore Girls fans know when the four 90-minute Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life movies will premiere — November 25, and they'll hit the streaming site all at once — it's time to wildly speculate about what will actually happen in the 360 brand-new minutes. And a new ad from the revival's official Instagram account might (MIGHT) suggest there's a new Gilmore girl (or boy) on the way.

The photo, posted August 2, appears to be a close-up Lorelai's kitchen counter with newspapers, a Netflix mug full of coffee and a plate of snacks on it.

"Pop-Tart appetizers to hold us over 'till the pizza comes," the caption reads. "And one apple."

As most Gilmore viewers know, Lorelai loves to eat Pop-Tarts, Luke's doughnuts, Chinese food from Al's Pancake World and generally all manner of garbage. But in Season 5, Episode 21, Lorelai surprises even herself by buying an apple at the hospital where Sookie's given birth...and says she previously only craved apples when she was pregnant.

"Okay, see, I’m eating an apple," she tells a doctor in the "Blame Booze and Melville" episode. "Now, normally, this would not be a sign of anything except hunger. Except I don’t eat much fruit. I know I should, but I don’t have a hankering for it. Had it when I was pregnant with my first kid, though. Kept craving those apples. And this morning, boy, was I craving an apple."

While some commenters took it as a sign of Lorelai's pregnancy — she's holding hands with Luke Danes in the Netflix production stills — others pointed out that it could be Rory, too. Also, Lorelai didn't actually turn out to be pregnant during her scare; she simply wanted an apple for once.

And it's not the only time we've seen AN apple on Gilmore Girls. As one of many commenters pointed out, the caption echoes a moment from Season 1 episode "Concert Interruptus":

no it's from the episode where Lorelei gave Rory and her chilton study group a pop tart appetizer and Rory remarked how unhealthy it was so Lorelei added an apple in the middle

As fun as the idea of a Gilmore baby is, sometimes an apple is just an apple.

As of now, though, concrete A Year In the Life details remain few. We've already learned that Richard Gilmore's death will affect the choices the main characters make, and that the "Winter" installment opens with Lorelai and Rory chatting in the Stars Hollow gazebo as the snow falls.
